The only industry study focused specifically on components—chapters, SIGs, and other subgroups.
As you’ve heard, we are conducting a new benchmarking survey of the association community regarding the local presence of your association, whether it be chapters, SIGs, or informal components. We thank all those who have participated in our focus groups and phone calls up to this point.
If you didn’t get a chance to participate, here’s your opportunity to do so via our online survey. Your participation will be invaluable to our understanding of how chapters are evolving and where they’re headed next.
Why This Matters
Since 2016, we’ve been tracking trends in how associations structure and support local components. In our last report, we included insights from CEOs and chapter leaders. This year’s survey continues to build on that foundation, plus adds a forward-looking layer to identify the strategies, systems, and innovations shaping the next era of member communities.
Our ultimate goal is to provide association leaders with an up-to-date view of current and evolving chapter practices, identify both the threats and opportunities associated with convening members in geographic communities, and deliver actionable insights that will guide the future of member communities.
What’s In It for You?
All survey participants will receive a full copy of the report, giving you access to up-to-date benchmarks, trends, and insights from across the association community. Plus, participants will also have the option to involve their chapter leaders in a follow-up customized survey.
