Number 1 pain point I’ve heard in all my chapter visits and chapter trainings over the last 18 months (more than 200 chapters!): volunteer succession. As in finding volunteers, keeping volunteers, engaging volunteers.
Which brings me to the point of this post: volunteering and volunteers have changed and will continue down this path. It is never too late to take time to understand what’s changed and changing about association volunteering and to learn how we in associations can be – nay, must be change agents.
