  • Part 2 includes a Readiness Assessment to help you in understanding your current skills and knowledge and in mapping your learning journey.

The 75-minute program will cover the basic roles and skills needed to effectively serve as a liaison to volunteers whether you are working with a specific volunteer committee/group or individual volunteers. We’ll also cover the latest trends in association volunteering.

This session is designed to stand-alone, as well as serve as a preparatory session for our full-day immersive program on July 10.

Session 2: Mastering Your Volunteer Liaison Role

APTA Centennial Conference Center, Alexandria, VA

Immerse yourself into the staff liaison world as we explore working with association volunteers from many angles. Topics include helping the chair succeed in their role, evaluating the group work and progress, and working with unengaged or difficult volunteers. Leave with actionable ideas and a learning plan to continue your development. *Fee includes the June 25th 75-minute virtual session.
