Want to have a better relationship with your volunteer leaders?
Decoding the Volunteer Liaison Role in two parts!

Introducing a learning experience where you will gain the skills and confidence in working with volunteers. The program includes two sessions: a virtual basics course (6/25) on being a volunteer liaison and an advanced course (7/10) where we will work through scenarios and cases to enhance skill development (see below for more details). Best of all, you can choose to take the virtual basics course only or the full 2-part program.

So if you are wondering how to have better relationships with your volunteer groups so they are more effective in contributing to your association’s work, or if you don’t feel like you get the right respect from your volunteers, then this program is for you. Over the course of the two sessions, we’ll…

  • Explore the essential tasks and responsibilities of the volunteer liaison role as well as emerging trends in volunteering and volunteer management.
  • Discover tools and resources you need to lead volunteers.
  • Gain ideas to build strong and respectful staff-volunteer relationships.
  • Gain an evidence-based foundation and framework enabling you to develop a highly effective volunteer program.

Plus … Part 2 includes a Readiness Assessment to help you understand your current skills and knowledge, and map your own learning journey.

Whether you oversee a cadre of volunteers or work closely with specific volunteer groups, this program will take your work to the next level.

Who should attend? This program is ideal for staff managing volunteer programs and staff liaisons to specific volunteer groups whether you are new to the role or a seasoned pro.

Program Fee: $279 for full program; $50 for virtual only
